Description
Silver/Gold leaf is a new trend in metal leafing. This imitation leaf is excellent for mixed media artists, glassware artists, ceramic artists, wearable art designers, cosmetics and beauty salons, invites, and book scrap projects.
- Application:
- This imitation silver/gold leaf is excellent for gilding furniture, walls, ceilings, and decorative objects. It applies to various materials, such as wood, metal, gib-board, stone, glass, ceramic, concrete, paper, plastic, Fabric, etc.
- Silver is on one side, and gold is on the other side.
- Leaf size: 14x14cm
You can use any gold leaf size, including Permacoll or Kolner Aqua Gilding.
- When using imitation metal leaf, it is best to use Gilder’s Gloves or Kolner Instacoll Tissue to avoid leaving fingerprints on the metal leafs, as they will show up later after applying the sealer.
- Use the gilder’s mop/duster to buff off the redundant flakes of the surface.
For long-lasting results, we recommend using Kolner Leaf Protect. This protective shield will prevent the foil from oxidation, ensuring that your artistic and DIY projects maintain quality over time. With this product, you can be confident that your creations will stand the test of time.
