Description

Designed for professional gilders, this gold leaf booklet is ideal for gilding furniture, walls, ceilings, and decorative objects. It can be applied to a variety of materials, including wood, metal, gypsum board, stone, glass, ceramic, concrete, paper, plastic, and fabric.

– Each booklet contains 25 sheets.
– One box contains 20 booklets (500 sheets total).
– The imitation gold leaf is available in loose sheets.
– Sheet size: 14 x 14 cm.
– Coverage: Approximately 51 leaves per 1 square meter, excluding waste and overlap.

For best results, use Kolner Aqua Size or Permacoll Size as the gilding adhesive. When working with imitation metal leaf, it is recommended to wear Gilder’s Gloves to prevent moisture from your fingers from coming into contact with the metal leaves.

To protect imitation gold leaves from oxidation, apply varnish using Kolner Leaf Protect. After gilding, use a Gilder’s Mop to brush off any excess leaves for a smooth, solid finish.
