Description

Experience the brilliance of large imitation gold leaf sheets (16×16 cm), meticulously packaged in sets of 500. Each sheet is thoughtfully stacked with a 1 cm space between them, ensuring that you can effortlessly pick up one sheet at a time without risking damage to the others. To preserve their stunning quality, avoid touching the imitation leaf with your bare hands. This essential tool is perfect for anyone looking to create exquisite designs with loose gold, copper, and silver leaf. Elevate your artistry and delight in the ease of use!

Gilder’s gloves are used for all genuine and imitation leaf applications. Their spaced woven threads prevent hands from sweating on the gilded surface. It’s crucial always to wear gloves when applying gold leaf. This practice prevents fingerprints from tarnishing the gilded surface, ensuring the spotless condition of your work. These gloves also come in handy for polishing the gilded surface and removing redundant flakes. You can also wear these gloves when polishing the gesso and clay to smooth them out well before gilding.

We also stock a variety of polishing and cleaning products.
