Description

Turn your printed artwork into a metallic copper finish using toner-reactive hot stamping foil. These metallic foils (copper, silver, and gold) suit all paper crafts, greeting cards, scrap-booking, business cards, flyers, and anything else printed on paper or card.
• Each full roll is 120 meters long and 64cm wide.

Here’s how to use the toner-reactive foil:

  1. First, print or photocopy your design with a laser printer or photocopier. Next, lay a sheet of toner-reactive foil over the printed area.
  2. Make sure the shiny side of the foil faces up.
  3. Place your project between two sheets of paper, then run it through a laminator.
  4. If your laminator doesn’t get hot enough, try running your project through it twice.

About toner-reactive gold foil

  • Toner-reactive gold foil works with all printer types and brands.
  • It works well with any paper thickness or colour.
  • The results are impressive—something you can do at home that still looks professional.

What is hot stamping/toner-reactive used for?

Hot stamping foil is a decorative film made of several layers. It transfers metallic, pigmented, holographic, or textured finishes onto surfaces with heat and pressure. This process creates sharp, reflective, and long-lasting designs that regular ink cannot achieve. As a result, hot stamping foil is mainly used to enhance branding and give products a more premium look.

Hot stamping foil is widely used in several major industries:

Luxury Goods & Retail Packaging

  • Foil stamping is often used in packaging to make logos, borders, and text more noticeable on store shelves.
  • Cosmetics & Perfumes: Metallic or pearl foils add a premium look to cosmetic boxes, lipstick tubes, and perfume packaging.
  • Wines & Spirits: Metallic details are used on labels and boxes for high-end liquors.
  • Gourmet Food & Confectionery: Foil stamping is used on chocolate boxes and speciality food containers to give them a high-end feel.

2. Commercial Printing & Stationery

  • It gives consumer paper products a unique feel and a shiny, metallic look.
  • Publishing: Foil accents are used on book covers, journal spines, and magazines.
  • Social Stationery: This includes wedding invitations, greeting cards, and premium business cards.
  • Official Documents: Certificates, diplomas, and awards often use foil to create a sense of prestige and a polished look.

3. Consumer Electronics & Automotive

  • Since the 1970s, hot stamping has been a leading method for decorating plastic parts.
  • Tech Products: Hot stamping is used to add brand logos to laptops, televisions, and smartphone accessories.
  • Automotive Interiors: This method creates shiny trim, dashboard panels, and instrument knobs.

4. Leather Goods & Apparel

  • Speciality formulations help the foil adhere well to flexible,d textured materials.
  • Leather Crafting: Add personal touches to leather wallets, bags, belts, and embossed notebook covers.
  • Fashion: Make metallic graphic prints or labels for hoodies, T-shirts, and designer shoes.

5. Security & Anti-Counterfeiting

Many industries use special holographic hot-stamping foils to protect their products. Because these foils are hard to copy, they often serve as security marks on tobacco packaging, pharmaceuticals, event tickets, and bank certificates.
